The REAP Toolbox
Working with the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO), UN Global Compact is finding more ways to engage with SMEs. UNIDO launched the Responsible Entrepreneurs Achievement Programme (REAP) Toolbox which is a framework for measuring and reporting on social and environmental performance.
The REAP Toolbox has been designed to support SMEs in their endeavour to improve their CSR-related performance. The tools are comprised of a comprehensive CSR-directed assessment software as well as a CSR training and advisory service programme. It is based on the UN Global Compact 10 principles as well as the UNIDO REAP (triple-bottom-line) approach, which combines financial, environmental, and social data in a company’s assessment.
