Fairtrade Fortnight 09: Taste Fair Trade at Adelaide Oxfam Shop
Make sure you get along to Taste Fair Trade at the Adelaide Oxfam Shop on Friday, 8 May – during Fairtrade Fortnight 2009. While there enjoy a Free expresso Fairtrade coffee, made to order by the on-site barista. You can also sample Fairtrade chocolate, tea and many more delicious goodies.
Learn about Australian bush food from Mike and Gayle Quarmby, the owners of Outback Pride, and enjoy tasting their range of sauces, chutneys and jams. Outback Pride is a great project that promotes the native Australian food industry through the development of production sites across traditional Aboriginal communities. At the same time, it gives indigenous Australians training and employment in the food industry and in horticulture.
