Their product range includes organic, Fairtrade cotton bags - chairbags for school and conferences, basic bags for the library and shopping and other fun stuff as well as small draw string bags for school reader books, makeup, lunch etc. Also, waiters aprons - 3 sizes in chocolate brown or classic black.
Organic Fairtrade cotton Tee shirts are coming real soon their plan is to continue to grow their range to include baby and children’s gear.

Their supply chain begins with the sewing and tending of their organic, Fairtrade cotton crops by small family owned farmers in Western India. Then the ginned and woven fabric travels to a wonderful group of Franciscan Nuns in Southern India who work with a group of special women to sew and pack their products.
On top of ensuring that their supply chain is kind to the environment and all aspects are fairly traded, they direct 10% of their profit to support authentic female leaders who are striving to address gender inequity in their local communities/countries through their WILD funding (Women’s International Leadership Development) program. WILD funds are used to assist women to overcome barriers relating to poverty, education and training.

THE AWARE NETWORK is an ethical collaboration between indigenous Kuna Indian textile artists, Fair Trade shoe producers in Colombia, and ourselves (Daniel and Jasmine).
Our fairtrade ethical vegan shoes use RECLAIMED textile, Mola textile art.
The Ancient tradition of the Mola textile is so inspiring: a cultural practice passed on by grandmothers to girls. A Kuna Indian woman sews a new Mola to mark every initiation in her life. A woman’s Mola reflects her mastery of life and wisdom.
Once a woman enters a new chapter in life, she unstitches the old Mola from her blouse (lets go of the old) and stitches on the new Mola (welcoming the new). A family-owned Fair Trade shoe producer business in the capital city of Colombia re-claims the used Molas and transform them into bright and funky shoes… carrying an ethical message and good story with every step!
We at THE AWARE NETWORK support both the Kuna Indians and Colombian Fairtrade Shoe producers by bringing these shoes to Australia feet, and giving 10% profits to four inspiring non-profit charities.
