Australian Ethical Investment Art Prize
Soul Economy is pleased to report that there is an Ethical Art Prize. This prize provides ethical fund manager, Australian Ethical, with a unique opportunity to not only increase awareness of ethical investment but also allows people to think creatively about ethical issues.
The Australian Ethical Charter sets out which sort of activities are to be avoided and which are to be supported. Implementation of the Charter means Australian Ethical not only avoids harmful activities but actively seeks positive investments in areas such as sustainable food production, renewable energy, recycling, efficient transport, education and healthcare.
Artists are encouraged to reflect on the Australian Ethical Charter when producing their work. The winning work will be judged on Saturday, 17 May at 6pm by Australian Ethical’s chairman, Pauline Vamos, and a representative of the TAP Gallery.
